Refunds & Cancellations Policy (the small print)

These are the conditions of entering this event

Cancellations up to the closing date - 4th July 2009

If you enter an archer and then they wish to cancel a place, a refund should be possible, provided the organiser can sell the space. Please notify the organiser immediately by email and state that you would like a refund. The organiser should be able to arrange an electronic refund but there will be a £2 deduction for expenses (Surrey has to a pay a charge for every transaction). This type of refund is to benefit archers who make the effort to enter early but then have to change their plans due to holidays or work commitments. The refund may not be made until after the event has taken place.

No space after making an online payment

When the space left in different classes/rounds gets close to zero it is possible that you may have made a payment after the last space has been sold. The organiser will offer you a place on the reserve list and your payment will be held over if you wish to go on the waiting list. Everybody on the waiting list did get the chance to shoot last year. If you don't want to wait and see if you get a space the organiser may be able to give you an electronic refund but there will still be a £2 deduction for expenses.

Payment by cheque

If you want to fill in the entry details on line but don't want to use a secure on line payment there is an option to pay by cheque. The entry is not deemed live until the organiser has received the cheque. Although spaces may be shown when you fill in the entry details those spaces may have gone by the time the cheque arrives. The organiser will inform you by phone or email if there is a problem. Other conditions shown here also apply to payment by cheque or cash.

Cancellations after closing date - 4th July 2009

There will be no refunds for cancellations after the closing date. However, it would be really helpful to the organiser if you could inform the organiser if an archer has withdrawn. Although spaces can often be resold we can still end up with gaps on the shooting line. Please note that there is a late entry fee of £1 per person after the 4th July.
